Support growing for Bratina push against lead in drinking water

Lead contamination in drinking water has been a major issue for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek MP Bob Bratina ever since the was elected to Hamilton City Council in Ward Two. Last week Bratina penned an open letter to his government urging it to institute a federal program to replace lead pipes across Canada. As a city Councillor, Bratina was successful in getting Hamilton Council to approve a subsidy program that allowed lower income householders to replace their lead pipes. He discussed the program with CHML’s Bill Kelly
