Queens Park takes Christmas break after rowdy fall session

The Ontario Legislature wound up its fall session this week and it marked the end of what had been a consequential session. In addition to Bill 23-the More Homes built Faster Act, which takes a significant amount of planning control from municipalities, there was the strong mayor legislation that will allow the Mayor of Toronto to pass legislation with only one third of his council in support.
