Putin arrests Philadelphia Flyer goalie and ships him to fight in Ukraine

After he signed a $1 Million deal with the Philadelphia Flyers, Russian goalie Ivan Fedotov was  forcibly dragooned into the Russian army and dragged off to fight in Ukraine.

The Daily Mail reports the  25-year-old was taken to an army enlistment office after being accused of ‘draft-dodging’.

An Olympian,Ivan Fedotov, was reportedly rushed into Putin’s army after he was filmed being detained by a squad of officers outside an ice rink in St Petersburg.

The accusation of ‘draft dodging’ is seen as revenge for his signing to play for NHL team the Philadelphia Flyers.

Fedotov won the KHL’s Goalkeeper of the Year award last season
