Pedestrian hit by GO train in West Hamilton died of injuries

Hamilton Police say a person struck by a GO train Monday afternoon has died. The Hamilton Police responded to reports of an individual struck by a train in the area of Main St and Dundurn St shortly before 5pm. Police say the  incident was not suspicious and continue to investigate the manner of death. Police have identified the deceased and their next of kin have been notified.

The accident made it necessary for GO passengers to transfer to buses at the Aldershot GO Station.
