Ontario mayors tell Ford, Trudeau; “Time’s up”

The Large Urban Municipalities of Ontario, represented by the Mayors and Chairs have called on the Ontario and Federal governments to stop wrangling over how to deliver emergency aid to cities and to get money flowing. In a communique the municipal leaders note that they are almost halfway through the current fiscal year and need to know how much money is coming so they can plan for tax increases and/or service cuts if the money is not forthcoming or turns out to be inadequate to cover municipal deficits.
