Ontario Daycares to re-open Friday

Premier Doug Ford says that all childcare centres will be allowed to reopen on June 12 with “some restrictions.” Education Minister Stephen Lecce says that all centres will have to limit the number of kids and staff in a defined space to 10 people. Lecce says that the province will protect parents who decide to not utilize their space during the upcoming period. He says they will ensure that they don’t lost their sport and are not charged, if that is the case. He said items that can spread the virus like toys will be restricted. He said priority in the day care spaces will go to first responders.
