The new owners of Torstar, which includes the Hamilton Spectator and Hamilton Community News published a letter in all the daily papers it owns today telling readers that they will invest in journalism and maintain the social justice principles espoused by long-time owner Joseph Atkinson. Included in the Nordstar group is former Ontario Premier David Peterson.
