New head of Hamilton Chamber of Commerce

The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors have named  Greg Dunnett as the new President and CEO of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, effective Monday September 12, 2022. Dunnett replaces Keanin Loomis who resigned the post earlier this year to run for mayor of Hamilton.

Most recently, Dunnett was the executive in charge of the 2021 Grey Cup Festival. He also led the launch of Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League and built the customer experience programs for the opening of Tim Hortons Field in 2014.

“Hamilton is an amazing City and I want it to be a great community to live in and to work in. I believe that the President & CEO of the Hamilton Chamber can play an active and important role in making that happen.” Explains Dunnett, “I’d like to thank the Board of Directors for the opportunity to lead the chamber and I am incredibly excited to get to work with the Hamilton business community during such a transformational time for our city.”

Greg was born and raised in Hamilton and graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce. He currently resides in Dundas with his wife, Caroline, and two children Evelyn and Camden.
