GO Bus Route 40 Will Provide Direct Bus Link to Airport from Dundas and Hwy. 407
Metrolinx is adding a new stop on the GO bus service between Hamilton and Pearson International Airport to offer people in the Burlington area a new direct transit link to Pearson Airport.
Starting January 11, 2020, GO Transit’s Route 40 bus will stop at the Highway 407 park-and-ride lot at Dundas Street. Route 40 offers 24-hour bus service between Hamilton GO Centre, Pearson International Airport’s Terminal 1, and Richmond Hill Centre, seven days a week. The new Route 40 stop at Dundas/Hwy. 407 will give people living in the Burlington area a new transit option for travel between Burlington and Square One Mall, Pearson Airport, and Richmond Hill.
Ministry of Transportation park-and-ride lots, such as the lot at Hwy. 407 and Dundas Street permit overnight parking for 120 consecutive hours. Adding a stop to GO bus Route 40 at this location gives people in the Burlington area the option to park, ride the bus, and fly for up to five days without the expense of airport parking.
