New COVID cases lowest in four months

Ontario has recorded its lowest daily increase in COVID cases since the early days of the pandemic. There were 76 new cases recorded and one death. Hospitalizations continues to decrease with 91 reported in hospital, 28 of whom are in ICU and 17 on ventilators. Wednesday’s case count is the lowest day-over-day increase since March 22 when 48 cases were confirmed.
