Karina Gould and Leslyn Lewis square off in nasty exchange in Commons

There was a tense moment this past week in the House of Commons when Gould, the Minister for Families, Children and Social Development accused Haldimand Norfolk MP Leslyn Lewis of calling another member an anti-semite, and asking for an apology. For her part, Lewis denied making the comment and demanded an apology from Gould. The speaker promised to review the transcript and report back to the House.

  • I am interested in hearing the outcome of any investigation, since it concerns our MP, Ms. Gould. I voted for her in 2015, but have not voted for her party since they broke a pledge to democratize our electoral system.
