Homicide suspected near Milton

 The Halton Regional Police Service continues to investigate the discovery of a deceased male in the area of Guelph Line and No. 10 Side Road in Milton.

A post mortem will be conducted at the Office of the Chief Coroner in Toronto but police believe the death to be as a result of a homicide.

At this time the deceased has not been positively identified.

There is a continued heavy police presence at this location and police are asking the public to avoid the area at this time. Police expect to be in the area for the remainder of the day.

The Homicide Bureau has taken carriage of the investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at 905-825-4776.
