GOOD LUCK TRYING TO SPEAK TO ALDERSHOT EDUCATION CANDIDATES

One week after the close of nominations two out of the three candidates for the Wards One and Two Trustee seat on the Halton District Public School Board are, so far at least, impossible to reach. Constituents trying to speak with candidates Sebastian Dumitrescu-Georgescu and Omar Kayed may be disappointed.

Dumitrescu-Georgescu and Kayed have completed the required nomination forms and been certified by the City Clerk as proper candidates, but, they are difficult to find.

The problem is that Dumitrescu-Georgescu has not provided the City with any contact information and Kayed has simply not responded to media messages and e-mails. Where are these people?

A review of the facebook, twitter and google has failed to provide any clarity.

The third candidate, Matthew Diodati has been interviewed by the media and has provided the City with full contact information.

The Wards One and Two Trustee seat, which includes Aldershot, became vacant when incumbent Leah Reynolds decided not to run again.

The election is October 24.
