Flamborough bottle drive set for this weekend

For the second time since the pandemic hit, Ryan and Melissa Zogala are a  bottle drive in support of the Flamborough Food Bank this weekend.

On Sunday, May 24, anyone who wants to help out are invited to drop off their empties at the Carlisle United Church, 1432 Centre Road  between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The collection stations will be contactless.

The bottle drive will also accept drive-by drop offs of non-perishable food items, gift cards and cash in a drop box, with all donations benefiting the food bank.

In the previous bottle drive this month, the Zogalas collected 42,998 bottles and cans, raising $5,152.80 for the Flamborough Food Bank.
