COVID exposure disrupts Ford’s daily news conference

Today’s daily COVID news briefing by Premier Doug Ford took on an unusual appearance when neither Ford. Health Minister Christine Elliott and Education Minister Stephen Lecce were all absent. Reporters were told that Lecce had learned that he had come into contact yesterday with someone who had tested positive for the virus, and since he had been at yesterdays news conference with the Premier and Elliott they were all self-quarantining pending getting a COVID test. At the end of today’s news conference Lecce put out an announcement that he had tested negative, and Ford and Elliott are awaiting the results of their tests.
