The minute Premier Ford opened his mouth yesterday in his daily news conference, one knew he was heading down a rocky road. In response to a reporter question about the George Floyd protests in the U.S. Ford said “thank God racism does not have systemic, deep roots in Ontario.” Today he walked it back.
