Burlington shooting leaves victim in hospital

One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a shooting on Woodview Road in the New Street-Walkers Line area of Burlington. Halton Police had originally advised householders in the area to shelter in place, but that caution has now been lifted. Two suspects fled on foot and are still on the loose and Halton Police are asking that anyone with dash cam video or home surveillance video from the area between the hours of 8am – 9:45am is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2315 or 2316.
