Another day, another parolee arrested with gun

Hamilton Police have seized a firearm and a large quantity of street drugs following the arrest of a 29-year-old male.

On New Years Eve, around 8:30 p.m., Hamilton Police received a 911 call about a man with a gun, in the area of Main Street East and Wexford Avenue.  Police responded to the area, located the male holding the weapon and safely arrested him.

During the investigation, police also located a firearm, a large quantity of street drugs, drug paraphernalia, and both Canadian and Czech money in the male’s possession. 

In addition to a string of drug and weapons charges, the man is also charged with violating parole
