Ontario reported 266 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Saturday, and nine deaths. The death count was the lowest recorded since early April. This is the sixth day in a row with under 300 new cases. Total fatalities in the province now numbers 2,507
The ratio of resolved cases continue to rise. A total of 26,538 cases are considered resolved, which makes up 83 per cent of all confirmed cases. Yesterday’s resolved cases outnumbered new cases again, which is another positive trend.
The test count continues to climb. It is likely Ontario will hit the million mark in testing this weekend. More than 27,400 additional tests have been conducted yesterday.
