132 new COVID cases overnight

Ontario recorded 132 new COVID cases overnight—the second day where new cases exceeded 130. Also for the second straight day, there were no fatalities. The Number of hospital cases, ICU cases and ventilated cases was virtually unchanged form the previous day. As has been the case in the past few weeks ,the great majority of the new cases are concentrated in three regions: Peel is reporting 45 new cases, with 31 in Toronto and 22 in Ottawa. Every other public health unit is reporting five or fewer cases, with 18 units reporting no new cases.
