‘Dexter’ and ‘Russell’ have been the most effective catylysts in calming Jackson Glover down.

Now the 12-year-old student at Burlington’s Charles R. Beaudoin school is ready to give something back for the love the two adopted dogs have shown him.

Jackson suffers from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which sometimes causes him to lose his focus and behave in a comical manner.

“He has full trust in them,” his father Terence said. “If he acts silly, they accept him as he is.”

It was Jackson’s idea to stage a walk-a-thon at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Saturday, May 27 to raise funds for the RBG and the Humane Society.

He’s asking participants to meet at the Cherryhill Gate parking lot at 10 a.m. for a two-hour trek along the RBG’s beautiful trails.

Anyone interested can make a donation that day or online at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/pages/doggie-bow-wow-walk-a-thon/ Further information can be obtained by calling 905-523-7900.
