Maple Syrup at Westfield has begun and runs Sundays throughout March as well as Wednesday and Thursday of March Break and on Good Friday.

Visitors will discover the labour- intensive traditional techniques used in early Ontario to produce maple syrup and then take a walk into the sugar bush to a modern sugar shack where one can taste some of Westfield’s maple syrup produced in a modern evaporator. At the same time there are more than 35 historic buildings which are open and staffed by the village’s volunteer interpreters.

The Maple Syrup Festival at Westfield runs Sundays through March– 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th as well as Wednesday March 16th and Thursday March 17th (March Break) and on Friday March 25th (Good Friday). The program runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $11.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors 65+ and $6.50 for children ages 6-12. Children 5 and under are free. Admission is free to HCA Annual Pass holders.
