His mother Olive was the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert master for nearly 10 years and now Hamilton’s Martin Short is coming back June 21 to be the feature guest of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra for a great night of comedy and music in support of the HPO’s community programming


Tickets are $50, $75, $100 and $200.00.  The $200 ticket includes a VIP reception before, at intermission and after the concert, and includes an opportunity to meet Martin Short


Martin Short is a Hamilton native who attended Westdale Secondary School and McMaster University, and is best known for his comedy work on the TV shows SCTV and Saturday Night Live as well as current prime time television shows How I met your Mother and Damages. He has also starred in  many major motion pictures including Father of the Bride 1 & 2. This Spring he returns to Canada as one of the judges on Canada’s Got Talent airing in early March

The event takes place Thursday June 21st at Hamilton Place. Tickets range from $50 to $200. The $200 tickets get you backstage for a special reception and a chance to meet Martin Short. Contact hpo.org for details.
