Kenora Thistles def. by Dundas Real McCoys 4-0
Dundas plays host to the 2014 Allan Cup and even though the Real McCoys were narrowly defeated in the Robertson Cup finals last week, the host always gets a place in the Allan Cup Championships. In a nice turn, the host team will also now play in the championship game after defeating Kenora 4-0 tonight. After a scoreless first period it was all Dundas in the final forty minutes. Jason Ward got things going for Dundas with a goal midway through the second period, followed up by Ryan Christie with a goal at 18:35 of the period. Christie scored his second straight goal with a power play tally at 4:39 of the third period. Simon Mangos added another power play goal for the Real McCoys at 15:01 to top off the shutout. With the victory, Dundas is undefeated in the Allan Cup Championships so far. The team will play for the trophey on Saturday afternoon against the Clarenville Caribous. (#HTRealMcCoys)
