The Redhill Valleys:

The Redhill Valleys are an original 3-piece Folk/Rock group from the Hamilton/Burlington area emerging onto the local music scene since last fall. Rooted by their influences in southern rock, acoustic americana and soul, the newly formed trio are forging a musical path all their own. The collaboration of guitarist Danielle Beaudin, bassist Chelsea McWilliams and drummer Tim Allard includes a powerful devotion to songwriting, unifying the poetic ease of their lyrics with unforgettable melodies, harmonies and guitar riffs.

 

The Human Orchestra:

The Human Orchestra is an 8 piece alternative folk rock band hailing from Hamilton, ON.  It was the September 2012 release of their EP “Lip Service” ( Oak Studio, Toronto, ON) that got them into this past Sound of Music Festival (Burlington), nominated for best new group of the year at The Hamilton Music Awards (2012) and named by CBC’s the buzz as “one of the top bands to see” at NXNE (2013).

They have recently released their new limited edition 7” single “Bad Jokes” (Catherine North Studios, Hamilton, ON) recorded with Michael Chambers/moon:and:6 (City in Colour, White Horse) released in October, 2013 then in November, 2013 began working on their debut full length album at Threshold Studios with Mike Kiere (The Dirty Nil, Dark Mean) for release in late Spring 2015 (CD/vinyl/digital download).

Multiple Juno award winner Chantal Kreviazuk has become one of Canada’s most beloved artists. With a string of distinguished albums and singles since she released Under These Rocks and Stones in 1997, Chantal’s drive to expand her artistry has led her to become a highly sought-after songwriter, having penned hits for Pink, Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, and Drake, among many others. She and husband Raine Maida (Our Lady Peace) were the recent recipients of the Slaight Music Humanitarian Award for their longstanding dedication to the world community.
