Slew of Impaired Driving Charges in Halton

Breathalysers were working overtime in Halton over the weekend with 7 people charged with drinking and driving offences. Friday night a 70-year-old was nabbed following a crash at Fairview and Maple Avenue in Burlington. Saturday two more persons were charged—one as a result of citizen complaint, the other from a police check. Sunday a citizen turned in a driver in Oakville, and police charged a 35-year-old Mississauga man. Also on Sunday a car crash at the QEW and Plains Road East resulted in impaired charges against a 27 year old from Hamilton. And then in the early house of this morning two more drivers were stopped by police and changed.
